He was in the army at that time and was martyred in the course of duty in 1914. The mosque was renovated again in 1963, during which it was expanded. Minarets were built, the courtyard was enlarged, and washrooms were constructed. For this purpose, the late Lal Khan and his brother, the late Abdul Kareem, donated the land for the sake of Allah. Later, around 1977, the minarets and other structures were upgraded. At that time, Nimble comprised approximately 10 to 12 Dhoks.

After that, around 2001, Kashif Mahmood, son of Guldad Khan and a member of the mosque committee, shifted the ablution area to the basement to expand the mosque and transformed it into an organized structure. During this time, he also enlarged the mosque’s mihrab and constructed the member inside the mihrab. Now, due to the increased population, there was not enough space in the mosque. In consideration of the need, the mosque is being demolished to build a larger mosque. This time, in 2023, Mr. Lal Khan’s son, Raja Manzoor Hussain, has donated the land for the sake of Allah. For the construction of the mosque, Haji Ismail, Haji Mushtaq, and Raja Irshad have donated a significant amount of money. Additionally, a large number of friends and acquaintances have also contributed funds for the mosque. May Allah accept all their donations and grant them great rewards. Ameen.

Jamia Masjid Ghausia Mehria Nambal

Nambal village is located about 18 kilometers from Kallar Syedan Tehsil in Rawalpindi District and approximately 65 kilometers from Islamabad.

The foundation of Jamia Masjid Ghausia Mehria Nambal was laid around 1905 by the late Pehnda Khan, father of the late Lal Khan. Initially, it was a single room. Pehnda Khan was in the military at that time and was martyred during duty in 1914.

Later, in 1963, the mosque was renovated. It was expanded, minarets were added, the courtyard was enlarged, and washrooms were built.

Lal Khan and his brother Abdul Kareem donated the land for the mosque fi sabeelillah (for the sake of Allah). Later, around 1977, the minarets and other structures were upgraded. At now this time, Nambal consist of about 10 to 12 small villages.

In 2001, Kashif Mahmood, son of Guldad Khan and a member of the mosque committee, moved the ablution area to the mosque’s basement to make more space. During this renovation, the mihrab was expanded, and the pulpit was placed within the mihrab.

As the population grew, the space in the mosque became insufficient. Due to the need for more space, the mosque is being demolished and rebuilt on a larger scale. In 2023, the late Lal Khan’s son, Raja Manzoor Hussain, donated land fi sabeelillah.

For the construction of the mosque, Haji Ismail, Haji Mushtaq, and Raja Irshad have donated substantial amounts, along with many friends who have contributed generously. May Allah accept everyone’s donations and grant them a great reward. Ameen.
